What we do

Short Term Accommodation (STA)

We can help organise overnight trips, holidays, events or a stay in your local community. Don’t just have a break, make it an experience! If you have something that you would like to do, or an event you wish to attend, get in contact with us and we can help support your independence in getting there.

One to one in home or community based support 

Whether the support that you need is in your home or in your community, Rivergum Support is there to help. Our support workers can assist you to complete tasks of daily living in your home, provide transport to the place you need to go and support whilst you’re there.

School Holiday program 7-17 years old

Looking for something fun to do over the school holidays?? Why not join us for fun and adventure! Rivergum Support’s school holiday program is for those in the Maryborough area. The program is based from Rivergum HQ and there is something different each day. All participants in the program are encourage to be as independent as possible to build and maintain new friendships. Group Supports

Each term we provide group supports within a vibrant and interactive environment, where out support workers actively encourage independence and foster friendships. These sessions are designed to be enjoyable and inclusive for all participants, ensuring everyone feels welcome and engaged. Who are we

Our close-knit team hone years of experience working in disability care roles and services. It is our community, family and people-centric values that set us apart. We choose to stay small and thorough in our approach – selective in our home offerings, and unified in staff services – to ensure we nurture participants and their families each step of the way, every day.

Our Goals

Rivergum Support is driven by people for people – we want to successfully support our participants, their families and our staff the best ways forward. So, our goals are in keeping with our vision for individual growth and commitment to care.

Support participants to live independently in a safe and healthy home.

Foster long-term healthy relationships between staff and participants, and their families, so everyone stays supported and happy.

Provide ongoing support services and opportunities to participants to help them develop, learn and grow in line with their individual goals.

Encourage participants to take personal pride and ownership of their home – it is their space to decorate, relax, recharge and enjoy in.
